However, the internet is filled with both facts and rumors, creating a need to navigate through the information carefully.
Is it necessary to make lemon water concentrated?
Not really!
Contrary to the belief that lemon water should be dense, a single slice of lemon can infuse a large bottle of water without imparting an overpowering sour taste.
Including the lemon peel is crucial, as it contains higher levels of flavonoids, and the essential oil is primarily found in the skin. Slicing the lemon thinly aids in extracting these beneficial components.
Can lemonade be consumed throughout the day?
Absolutely!
Drinking lemon water during the day can enhance focus, alleviate fatigue, and even help relieve constipation, serving as a mild laxative and detoxifier.
On the other hand, consuming too much lemon water at night may lead to increased nocturia, affecting sleep quality and potentially causing facial edema the next day. Failure to brush teeth after consuming lemon water at night can elevate the risk of dental caries.
Drinking a modest amount of lemon water at night, accompanied by proper oral hygiene, poses no risk to dental health. However, due to differences in the body's digestive function between day and night, consuming lemon water at night may stimulate gastric acid secretion, potentially causing discomfort such as bloating, acidity, and hiccups.
Should lemons be soaked in cold water?
Warm water is preferable!
Despite claims that soaking lemons in hot water causes vitamin C loss, cold water fails to fully extract beneficial components. Lemon's strong acidity allows it to resist heat well, and vitamin C remains stable even at temperatures below 60°C.
Can individuals with stomach issues consume lemon water?

While some worry about the strong acidity of lemons irritating the stomach, a small slice of lemon in water is not excessively acidic.

The correct method for making lemonade involves washing lemons and refrigerating them for two hours. Afterward, slice the lemons (15-20 slices per lemon), place them in a container, and seal it in the refrigerator freezer.
